Testimonies

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth." (3 John 3)

I, Roxroy Taylor, a prisoner of the Lord, am a living testimony. April 22, 06 will make 4 yrs since I am saved and I must confess that I am living the best time of my life in Jesus Christ my Savior. The congregation here at Eastern Correctional Facility is filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, which is evident in the love of Christ shown amongst the brethren.
Nothing but blessings has come my way since I have put my faith and trust in the Lord. I am finally at peace with myself; I have the joy like a river in my soul; my family bond has gotten much stronger; and the Lord has been using me in a mighty way ever since I have turned my entire life over to him.
During this time of incarceration, I have noticed that there are many brothers and sisters doing a lot of time with no sort of family support and, being in here also, my heart was deeply moved to do something, by the power given to me through the Holy Spirit, to help give them some hope.
As I began to study prayerfully and network, I couldn't help but to notice the overwhelming lack of unity within the Kingdom of God, which seemed to be more of a problem than a solution. I couldn't understand why, though the Lord has changed my life around for the best, "Christianity" has become a stumbling block for some of my brothers, who, though saved, may sometimes feel even more lonely and rejected during their Christian walk.
I felt I have a responsibility to God and also my fellow brothers and sisters so I continued to pray for unity, not only for my brethren in prison, but also for the entire Kingdom of God.
About 1yr ago, my prayers were answered when my beloved friend, Fredrick Jones, whom I haven't seen in over 5yrs, reunited with me. As I shared what was on my heart, he help us to bring about this unity in the form of this website you are presently on.
Our Lord prayed in John 17 that we may be as one, as Him and the Father are one. Today, by the grace of God, brothers and sisters from all corners of the earth can unite in one Spirit. Now the Kingdom that our Lord died to establish; the Kingdom of God the Apostles and Prophets, our predecessors, sacrificed their lives for; this kingdom can be more appreciated and perpetuated through the unity of fellow brothers and sisters around the entire world. Praise ye the Lord!!!
Humbly surrendered,
R. Taylor
