Open your heart and say this prayer:
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for praying for us. I want your desire for unity in your body to become my desire as well. Enable me to do all within my ability to help usher in the unity for which you prayed.
You have asked the Father that we be made perfect in you. It is this that will make the world know the Father sent you, and that He loves each person as He loves you.
Reunite your kingdom, Lord, for it is good and pleasant for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like the precious ointment upon the head and the dew of Hermon. It as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion, for there you have commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
Give me grace in every situation to work towards unity, Lord. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, I want to learn how to forbear with others in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Thank you for setting this goal for us: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness Christ.
Because we have one Father and one Spirit, Lord, there should never be division among your people. There is one fold and one Shepherd. Lord Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd of the Sheep. Thank you for knowing me and protecting me; help me always to know your voice and follow your leading.
It is my earnest desire to be one with you as you are one with the Father, Lord. Help your body to fulfill your joy by becoming likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Help us all to remember that the Holy Spirit came to your people when they were in one accord. Until you come back to reign with us in your kingdom, pour forth your abundant graces of love, harmony and unity in our lives, our relationships with each other, and in your kingdom.
